Community Television Feature

We were honored to get a call from Dave Kiser from our local community television station, channel 12, asking to feature us in their Community Corner local business feature. Of course we said - Sure! 

Dave showed up to our door with his photographer Chris, and they spent some time getting to know us and our story. Dave had a list of questions and topics he wanted to cover. However, we only had 2 minutes! That's like a couple of blinks and a nod! I'm pretty sure we missed a couple of things on that list. But Dave and Chris thought it was great, and we did it in one take! I had to watch it to find out what I said, because I had no idea at the time. The next time you see someone on TV being interviewed, and they seem nervous, it's because it is nerve wracking!

In any case, we thought they did a great job. They showed a little bit of what we do, and captured the passion we have for making jewelry. Of course you can't really capture everything in two minutes. You can't capture the time and effort we put into everything we make, to be sure it will last for more than a lifetime. To be sure the stones won't fall out. To be sure that the only thing you have do is clean it, and enjoy wearing it. 

One of the questions Dave asked before the interview was, what makes Artelle Designs different from everyone else. This has always been a difficult question for us to answer. Because there are so many things that make us different. Our attention to the details. Our consideration to our customers. Our no pressure atmosphere. We do our best to help you, even if that means sending you somewhere else. We have been refining our jewelry making processes for 40 years. No one else in the Twin Cities has more experience designing, and making custom jewelry. We use a combination of classical and modern techniques, combined with old world standards, to create the best jewelry possible. To make something we will be proud of, so you can be proud of it. 

And we apply those same high standards to everything, whether it is changing a watch battery, sizing a ring, or making a 25th anniversary present for that special someone. 

What makes us different from everyone else? Well, we are different. From our experience, expertise, sources, and philosophy, no else comes close. I'm not sure if that is a great answer, but that's what we have right now. We'll keep trying to answer it better, and we'll keep doing what we do. Oh yeah, here is the video.
